Malawi - Glasses for First Graders

A total of 222 children attend the first grade of Matandani School in the South of Malawi. All of the children sit on the floor - there is neither room nor money for tables and benches. Several of the children suffer from visual impairment, which makes it difficult for them to follow their teacher's lessons at the blackboard. 29 of them have received pretty new OneDollarGlasses from us and are very happy to be able to learn like all the other kids now.
