Peru
OneDollarGlasses Peru got its start with strong support from the Lentes al Instante team from Bolivia.
In the Pueblos Jovenes
After a long and intensive preparation, Lentes al Intante Bolivia, led by Max Steiner, started training a first team in Peru. In May 2019, it was able to start work in the so-called Pueblos Jovenes, the dust-dry slums around the capital Lima. The project is organized by the young entrepreneur Alejandra Portillo, financially supported by the Dieter Kathmann Foundation. As in Bolivia, the project name is “Lentes al Instante”.
