The OneDollarGlasses

The OneDollarGlasses consists of an extremely lightweight, flexible and stable spring steel frame and prefabricated lenses which are made of polycarbonate.

The entire material and manufacturing cost of the glasses will come to approximately 1 USD. This enables impoverished people the ability to afford a pair of OneDollarGlasses.

The tough and rust-free spring steel wire is dermatologically safe and skin compatible. It is first bent at the bending machine into rectangular sections.

It is possible to make the frames for the glasses in different sizes: The yellow mark is for children's glasses, the red for medium sizes and the blue especially for people with bigger interpupillary distances.
